We Started With Car Valeting in Dublin

The ‘CleanMy…’ group of specialist cleaning companies started off in 1994 as one of Dublin’s first mobile car valeting operations. We began trading as www.argovalet.com – although it would be some years before we made our first website. Argo Valet quickly became synonymous with high quality cleaning work and we enjoyed a broad client base. We trained initially with Gordon Kellet Motors one of Dublin’s main Saab dealers and then with Autoglym Ireland and we have always used the best quality cleaning products for our work. This attention to detail and would mean we would soon be performing valeting work for high profile business clients such as TV3, numerous car garages, and even Áras an Uachtaráin. We also built a reputation around catering to the requirements of a customer base, which consisted of top marque vehicles. We were soon valeting most of Dublin’s Porsches, Ferraris, and Aston Martins.

We developed a huge customer base, and invested in our business. We started offering paint correction services, and then became one of Dublin’s most renowned car detailing operations with www.cleanmycar.ie. At this point our car cleaning divisions have cleaned, valeted and detailed over 10,000 cars in Dublin and Ireland.

Moving towards Carpet Cleaning

Our clients began to ask us why we did not offer a carpet and upholstery cleaning service. After all, we already had extraction equipment; it made perfect sense to incorporate a wider range of cleaning services into our offering. Our first business was www.steamcleanpro.ie, a professional, eco-friendly carpet and upholstery cleaning business which utilised our carpet and upholstery cleaning know how in a domestic and commercial sphere. We already had a customer base to operate from, and because customer service is always our number one priority, we received a lot of goodwill and referral work.

Import Carpet Products? Why Not?!

The events that occurred in the above story got us thinking. The carpet cleaning industry in Ireland is both underrepresented and unregulated. The UK has a number of self regulating bodies such as the National Carpet Cleaners Association. Ireland has none. That means that really, there is no accreditation available for Irish carpet cleaning professionals, unless you got to the UK and complete training courses, which of course we have done.

We decided to import, distribute, and act in an advisory capacity to any carpet cleaner in Ireland who needs our help with acquiring and using the right products and machinery for carpet and upholstery cleaning. In 2010 we set up www.cleaningwarehouse.ie to do just that. We now supply and train professional carpet and upholstery cleaners in Dublin and indeed throughout the Island of Ireland. Our product range is not only excellent, but also eco friendly, and we are constantly growing.

Our Specialist Cleaning Brands

Over the last few years we have added a number of specialist cleaning brands to our offering. Our main carpet cleaning business is www.cleanmycarpet.ie, and we specialise in high end fabrics and fibres. We also love antique and persian rug cleaning – every rug we clean presents us with it’s own unique challenges which we relish in resolving. Our rug cleaning brand is www.cleanmyrug.ie.

Our floor covering businesses are www.cleanmyfloor.ie and www.cleanmygarden.ie the former specialising in marble, porcelain and natural stone cleaning, the latter for high end garden and patio coverings such as Indian Sandstone and Slate.

Our latest brand which we were delighted to announce is www.cleanmycurtains.ie, again specialising in silks, cottons, and finer material cleaning.

Over the years we have accrued a vast knowledge database and a wealth of experience in the field of specialist cleaning. Our product distribution business and our business partners in the UK and Ireland afford us a cornucopia of knowledge and back up which for you, our customer means you get the absolutely best possible service from us, every time.
